Il Castello di Windsor è uno dei più antichi del Mondo; fu costruito de Guglielmo il Conquistatore dopo la battaglia di Hastings nel 1066 ed è adibito a dimora della famiglia reale da oltre 900 anni. Attualmente la Regina  ne fa uso privato e viene utilizzato per funzioni pubbliche.
